Points

Genetics: Pts

Points has it's name for a reason. It always starts at a certain point of the body and spreads into the body to create 'sock' like markings over the legs. It can also appear on wings, faces, fins and other places on the body. This marking has different coverage areas for each Mythikan.

Points is a marking that covers the tips of the limbs and face just like the brown like markings on dogs such as dobermans, merle collies, etc.

It can also cover the limbs to create markings such as the panda markings on Mythikans.

Points can only be 1 colour from the palettes given below depending on your base coat colour.

Minimum Coverage

Where your points start is completely up to you.

However, no matter where your placing your Points, you will have a minimum of 40px needing to be shown.

If your coverage falls into this 40px circle, you will need to add more to your coverage.

If you have placed your points in 2 places then you will need a minimum of 20px in those 2 places

For example, if you place to be over the eye and part on the toes, you would need to create a 20px circle in those areas and you can not erase into this circle at both points.

If you have done it in 1 place, put down your circle and add more to that marking.

Below also shows you the direction of how points would work into the body.

You must follow the direction the red arrows are pointing on the bodies.

You don't always need to cover the full area of the restriction allowance.

You can make holes within the marking or make it have a slight mottled effect however this can only be near where the edge of the marking meets the rest of the body. .

Points and Marking Modifiers

Points does not get affected by marking modifiers at all.

Marking modifiers such as Reversal, Dual Tone, Spectral and Shine does not affect Points.
