LEVELING AND RANKING
Cycling Hub
Mythikans level up through Life Points, otherwise known as LP, which you can earn through doing artwork and literature, or you can combine the two together to earn more points but the writing must be related to what is happening in the image. Mythikans can be raised by handlers, which are known as companions, or you can have them raised in the wild by their parents or by the starters. This choice is completely up to you and it does not affect anything in the game, only if a companion that has bonded to a Mythikan will give you an upper hand.

Do i need to fill anything out in the description of my literature or artwork?
It is not essential, however you will make the admins job and work a lot faster with your work if you do put this on your trackers (check how to set up LP trackers for more information on this) when trying to record each image or literature:

Ranks and Levels
What are Ranks and Levels?
Ranks are what determines your Mythikan's rank level to partake in certain areas of the game. Some areas of the game you will need to be certain ranks or above else you will not be allowed to enter, if you do try to enter one that is not of rank, there can be fatal consequences to the Mythikan that you will then need to do other things to bring your Mythikan back to health or revive your Mythikan.

Levels are the different stages that you can go through each rank gaining so many breeding slots. You can see below with the chart how many levels there are within each rank, how much LP you need in order for you to be that level or rank.

How do we get our Mythikan's to rank up?
You will need to go through the levels and once you hit the lowest level within the rank, you will automatically get your new rank. If you think you have enough points to level up or rank up, you will need to head over to the Admin Approvals and scroll down to were it says 'Genetics Admin' and you will be redirected to a link for you to get your Mythikans to Level up and Rank up.

Ranks at birth?
Every pup that gets born will be born as Runt rank, however there will be the occasional time when if two alpha rank Mythikans breed, the pups may be born as the lowest leveled Omega Rank. You will always need to start at the lowest level of your rank given, so say if your pup starts at Runt Rank, you will need to start at level 0, if you start at Omega Rank, you will need to start at level 5.

You can still gain Stats and Rune points through Evrah's daycare center and Sorcery activity. Alpha rank does have it's own benefits in the game..
Stats
Stats are what makes up your characters abilities; its health, attack, defense and speed. These stats are used in various activities and seasonal quests which affects your game play. Each species within Mythika have thier own set stats depending on thier levels and you can check the Species stats. Even with these general set stats, you can also gain extra stats through activities, disciplinaries, seasonal quests, familiars, etc.

If your characters are either deceased or Knocked Out (KO), You will not be able to get any LP's for that character until it has been revived by getting a contract to Nova.

Extra Information
Chibi Art

Chibi' art is defined as the cute chibi japanese style art. We do not prevent people from doing this style of art and count it towards the listed Life Points stated above. We do not half your points for chibi style art and we do not check your gallery for any 'lazy' art works.
LP Sheets

We do allow for LP sheets. This is when you are doing a bulk of LP to rank up your creatures. However we do not allow LP sheets for any activities or disciplinary entries as it messes up our rollers.
Shading Information

Shading must be clearly shown on the characters without the need of zooming in or eye squinting. There are 4 different ways to shading, Soft shading, Cel Shading, Mixed Shading and Realism Shading. We have given the basic examples of each one below to assist you knowing what is acceptable for each one.
Soft Shading
Cel Shading
Mixed Shading

Soft shading is when there is no sharp edges to the shading layer. This can also include when the shading layer is strongly shown similarly to what cel shading looks like, but just the edge of the shading layer is blurred.
Cel Shading is when there are no blended parts to the shading layer. It is all hard edged nor does, nor does it have a layer of shading underneath or above the hard edged shading. It is all one colour shaded.
Mixed shading is a challenging shading to do, however it is possible to do. There are two ways of doing this shading technique. One is to have both soft shading and cel shading on the character, whilst the other way is to have the cel shading, but do soft shading within this cel shaded layer. However, they must be clearly shown on the characters and doesn't involve eye squinting nor zooming in to see its mixed shading.
Realism
Realism gives the characters a more realistically painted look. These will add textures to make it look like real fur, skin, scales, etc. Below are some acceptable examples of what realism shading would be allowed.
How to tell the % of the body
We understand that trying to know how much of the body gets covered, so hopefully this little guide will help you. We always base this off from the Mythikans are alive and can be created as a 3D model. With each creature, we consider each species within Mythika to have thier own set amount of features.

We will list you some of the features in 2 parts. One would be the full features that gives the majority amount of % to the body, as well as the bonus features that add up on small things. Be aware that mane types do not count towards the % of the body.

This is a list for the majority features to the body.
-
Face
-
Neck
-
Shoulders
-
Front arms
-
Paws
-
Rib cage
-
Abdomen and Hips
-
Hind legs
-
Tail
-
Wings

This is a list of bonus features that you can add towards the % of the body. Note that these are only bonus', they do push the % of the body up a little but not much.
-
Physical Traits
-
Equippables (Tack, Armor, Weapons, etc.)
-
Mouth
-
Ears
-
Extra Limbs

If you have missing limbs due to Zombified Mutation or other causes, you will need to work based on how much of that Mythikan is visible. Once you have drawn these sections, you will need to guess how much of the body is covered. If you struggle to tell how much this covers, you can make a guess and our admins will help you out when they check your LP to rank up your levels/ranks or you can make a help ticket in our discord.

Most trackers are done on Deviantart or Toyhou.se. How you do it is completely up to you, however we do have some rules to creating Life Point trackers:
-
Ensure that you have comments enabled on your trackers for our admins to comment and confirm on. This includes for the images and on the trackers themselves where applicable.
-
If you decide to stick all of your images into a CSS/HTML code area and place them into the levels, you must have all the level requirements met, even if it goes over slightly in each level section. You also need to place the confirmation screenshot or link to confirmation into that section of your level to show admins that they don't need to recount your LP.
-
Label out how much LP each entry has, even if you make mistakes, admins will correct the amount or approve what you have written.
-
If you fail to do this, admins will ignore your approval request and ask you to make the LP listings and resubmit once you have done so.
-

You can use your bulletins or journals to update how many LP points you have, record your breeding slots and who you gave them to, image of your import, information you want to store on the tracker. You can also use your LP trackers to also be your Activities trackers, however we must ask that you keep the activity trackers to be separate from your LP comments.
