Teeth should be white - yellow.

FLESH COLOUR PALETTE

Claws and Paw pads should always be natural colours or the same colours of their coat colours and markings around them.

EYE COLOURS

Eyes can be any colour, you can even make them different colours (Heterochromia).

Sclera should always be white or off white, unless they have the Sclera mutation.

Marking Restrictions

Within all of the imports, you should find all of the marking restrictions in a folder. Even though there are restrictions on the markings, we do not comment on precision. As long as your markings are close enough to the edge of the restriction layers than we would not ask you to redo the marking area. If you have clearly gone way too much beyond the restriction layers, then we will ask you to redo or edit the marking accordingly.

Marking Edges

Each Marking guide has these symbols to show what kind of textured edge they should be.

Colouring Lines

While we do allow you to colour the lines of your imports. We do not accept lines that become almost transparent on your imports. If any imports appears to be too hard to see the lines and requires eye squinting or zooming in very close to see the lines, your import will be declined instantly without checking over and you will be told to redo the import and re-post your request for admin approval.

You need to have a darker value than the base by at least 3px.

Halo's

Import halos are the very faint white line outlining the Mythikans.

We do allow you to do these halo's, however they need to be no more than 20% opacity showing.

They can not be thick lines either. Roughly the same width of the lineart is a good recommended size for your halo's.

Marking Textures

Marking textures are basically just 'add on' textures that you can apply to your markings to make them look nicer and semi realistic. You really need to keep in mind that you must keep to whatever the body build is, meaning that you can't make scale/feather like textures on a fur body build, etc. These marking textures need to be subtle and kept to a minimal in order for the marking textures to be approved by the admins.

This really is where your imagination and knowledge come into play for muscles and fur direction in order for you to pull this technique off. However, that does not mean you need to be an expert or professional to be able to do this, you can reference real animals or most import's line art gives slight indications of muscles and fur direction on the body.

Marking edge restrictions compared to marking textures?

Whilst the markings guides does have edge restrictions for the markings, there are some that you use the marking textures to subtly modify some areas of the marking to give it some marking textures.

fur.png

Fur Textures

For fur textures, this makes small slight 'slits' along the edge of the marking to make the marking look more like it would be on a fur body. If you are wanting to do these dashes, ensure that you are within the marking restriction area still. You can always erase the 'slits' to make sure you are within the marking restrictions.

skin.png

Skin Textures

Some Markings state that you must have hard edge, but if you have the Sphynx build or areas on the body that skin, you will be exempt from this rule as you will be able to add a subtle soft blended edge to your markings if you wish to do so. This should only be a maximum of 10 px. So it still kind of looks like a solid edge but it has a slight blur to the marking.

feather scales.png

Scale/Feather Textures

Some Mythikans have scales or feathers, in which case you have the option to make small 'C' shapes rather than full on markings. The only exception to this rule is the Unique markings, those you will need to follow the guides.
