What are semi customs?

What semicustoms

Semi Customs are unrevealed genos that you can make up using the correct amount of DNA points stated below. You will first need to look at your Semi Custom Tier level and how many DNA points each one allows. We have divided these up to each section of the geno for you to go buy.

Mane type's are always Natural Mane unless you get proof from the owner stating that you can use any mane type. If you want to have a different Mane type rather than Natural Mane, you will need to contact the species owner to get the confirmation that you are wanting this, just be aware you may need to sacrifice some DNA points. The rest of the sections you will need to choose from the amount of DNA points you are restricted to within that Tier.

Lifeforce summoning -

There is a special item called 'Lifeforce Summoning' that you could also use on your Semi Customs that prevents you from sacrificing some of your DNA points on your DNA points. This item can only be crafted in Sorcery or bought from an admin in their personal sales of items from thier admin inventories. Be aware you are forbidden to go pester admins for this item and can result in permanently getting banned from having this option or acquiring any other Mane types other than Natural Mane.

Gender - You may choose what gender that you want, Male or Female.

Bloodline - All Bloodlines are always Unknown. If you have the choice to use the UACC, you must state within the comments section of your Semi Customs which Unique Alpha that you have used for the coat colour. Admin's will then provide you with a bloodline that you must use.

There are many ways that you can gain Semi Customs and there are a maximum of 5 Tiers that are available. Tier 1 and 2 are acquired in many ways such as activities, seasonal events, etc. Tier 3 and 4 are acquired through money or events only. Tier 5 is only given by the species owner only as a special award for many things such as good behavior, Improvements, studies, recommendations, etc. Admins can also sell or giveaway Tier 1 or Tier 2 Semi Customs if they desire in our Discord too.

Where do i go to purchase a semi custom?

You will need to go to Nova's Contracts and go to the section called 'Purchases'.

How our semi customs work?

How semi custom work

All of our semi custom tiers have what is called DNA points for each part of geno that makes up your characters. You will need to look at each of our tiers to see what DNA points are allowed and then down at where it states what each genetic make up would cost with DNA points. The amount it states in the Tier sections for DNA points is the maximum allowed of DNA that you can use for that section, you can not go over the stated amount of DNA points.

Meaning that each Tier would state a set number of DNA points you are allowed to use for that stated part of the geno. For example, coat colours could have a total of 3 DNA points, you will then need to scroll down to where it says DNA points and then you can work out how many of those genetics you are allowed to make up your geno / import.

Semi Custom Tier 5

Only Nova will give out these if you have earned this for various reasons which they will state. However, once you have been told you got a tier 5. You have only 1 week to design the custom, submit it to design approval and tag Nova in to say you have used it. Tier 5 can vary depending on what Nova gives you.

Abandoned souls

Abandoned pups

You can find abandoned souls all over Mythika, however they can be fairly rare to find. They used to be flesh and blood, but their souls got drained from thier bodies and kept into small jars, waiting to be released once more, returning into flesh and blood once again. They will be undesigned genos that you will need to reveal for you to keep or to sell, put in the sanctuary or design based on the geno that was revealed to you.

Completing the process -

Be aware that these poor pups were abandoned by either thier parents or the last members that had owned them previously, so their trust in others will be wavered and you will need to gain thier trust back. To do that, you will just need to make some kind of bonding image / literature between this newly designed pup and some other Mythikan of yours, Alphas or companion.

This image must be given in with its designed import for design approval or putting them into the sanctuary!

What does this bonding image/literature require?

You simply just need to show another Mythikan, Alpha or companion giving this new pup some love and care, this can be things like:

giving them some new toys to play with
treating it to a bath
taking it out for a walk
giving it some cuddles
making it some food and something to drink
making its new bed and giving it somewhere comfortable to sleep.

As for the requirements of this image / literature, it must be:

For Literature:
- 800 words minimum
- All characters must be depicted clearly with descriptions
- Surroundings and what each character is doing described fully
For Art:
- Full body
- Coloured and shaded
- Background required, does not need to be fully detailed.

Where do i go to reveal my pup?

You will need to go to the Admin Approvals page and scroll down to where it says 'Genetics Admin', press the button and it will redirect you to where you can reveal your abandoned pups.

Alpha / Starter breeding slots

What are starter breeding slots?

What starter slot

Alpha / Starter breeding slots are breeding slots that you can acquire through supporting the group to keep our website and rollers up and running. These are just a one time payment for slots to breed together or breed to other Mythikans. Once you have used the slots, you will need to purchase more slots if you are wanting more slots to them.

What are the advantages to having Alpha / Starter breeding slots?

Alphas / Starters do not count towards inbreeding. If you want to inbreed your pups, you will need to ensure that alphas are not present within your bloodlines. That being said, inbred mutations will be impossible to get with Alpha / Starter x Alpha / Starter breeding.

Where do i go to purchase an Alpha / Starter breeding slot?

You will need to go to Nova's Contracts and go to the section called 'Purchases'. Once you have purchased your slots, Nova will then provide you with your breeding slots.

Are these always open?

Yes, these will always be open unless stated otherwise in announcements due to Nova's absence as they take admin breaks.
