ARPG stands for Art Role Playing Game. In other industries, it can also mean Action Role Playing Game, however for Mythika-ARPG, we refer it to art role playing game.

How to get involved

There are many ways to take part within the ARPG, mainly via literature and art. You can also participate by doing crafts of your creatures. Once you have your playable characters, you need to do these forms of media in order for you to level your playable characters up, breed them, take part in certain activities, etc.

The core to playing within ARPG's is story telling and bringing your characters to life through your art and other mediums. There are many things that you can do in ARPG's such as battling, finding treasure, learn magic, and much more. ARPG allows you to go wild with your imagination. You can also interact with other members to play and receive even more bonus' within the game.

What's the benefits of playing the ARPG?

There are many advantages to taking part in an ARPG. Which can be beneficial to you. Such as:

- Making new friends within the community.
- Learn new and different things.
- Improving your artwork and skills.
- Build up more confidence in yourself and your art
- Practice drawing new things you have never done before.
- And many more!

How to play

In order for you to take part in our group, you would need a Toyhou.se account, if you do not have one, you can always go into our discord and put out an advertisement that you are looking for one. It is not essential for you to have a Toyhou.se account, however we do recommend that you use one for keeping track of your Life Points (LP). You can also use our discord to interact with other players and members. We also have a discord exclusive game section where you can get items from taking part in the quests. You will need some kind of social media platform (or Toyhou.se) to take part. Mythika-ARPG is based on Deviantart currently.

What are the species and can we co-own them?

There are many different species, both playable and non playable creatures (NPC). You can read more about each of the species that are available within the species guide.

You can have co ownership to creatures within Mythika, however it is strongly advised that you read up on the Rulebook before thinking about co-owning your creatures with another player.

What are companions and are they compulsory?

Companions are like the handlers/tamers of your Mythikans and they take care of your Mythikans, guide them and also help them within their journey to growing up. They are not required unless stated, however they do give some benefits to your Mythikans. If it says that you need to have a companion and you have not assigned one and bonded them, it will also state with the information what you can use for an alternative.

Where can i get my own Mythikan creature to start playing?

Sanctuary - You can tame Mythikans with different methods.
Breeding - You can acquire breeding slots from other players and breed 2 Mythikans together to get some pups for you to raise.
Starter Breeding - You can purchase breeding slots to starters and breed 2 of them to get some pups.
Members Genos - Sometimes other players put out advertisements that you can get your own pups through art, Gil, money, etc.
Seasonal Quests - Sometimes seasonal quests have pups has rewards for taking part in them.
Events - Sometimes you can either get slots or a batch of pups from taking part within events.
Looking For - You can put out an advertisement journal to search for Geno's and Slots for other players to come to you.
Discord - You can advertise within Discord for Genos, slots, etc.

Got my geno, now what?

Awesome! Now you will need to head over to the Design Guide and follow those instructions on how you can get your pup's design approved and uploaded, ready for them to start their journey through Mythika.

If you struggle on designing your pup, you can always get your pup designed by others through advertisements, or there is a section on the design guide that your can post your geno for anyone to claim your geno and design them for both you and the designer to claim some bonus rewards on that Mythikan.

Mythikan's Life Journey

Once you have your pup designed and uploaded, there are a few things that you can do within Mythika. You do not need to do it within the order stated below, however it is a good way to start with them.

You will need to make literature pieces and artworks, or other media's, in order for you to get them Life Points (LP) so they can get stronger and better within the game. By acquiring LP, you will be able to level your Mythikan up and get more benefits within various parts of the game.

Disciplinaries

Disciplinaries are what allows your Mythikans to take part in certain areas of the game, you will need to check on the individual species sheets what your Mythikan needs to partake in within each of the Disciplinaries.
