Runestones, runebooks, magic
Runes are basically spiritual energy that is passed down onto pups from their parents during breeding. You can also level up your Runes by taking part in the sorcery activity. Rune points is a way to measure your Mythikans magic skill level and be able to use certain spells during combat.

You will need to have at least 1 Rune point on your character for that type of Rune in order for them to use that particular elemental Rune. If you try to cast a spell of a certain elemental Rune that your Mythikan does not know of, it can cause your Mythikan to get severely injured, or worse, death. You will need to do the sorcery activity to search for Rune Stones in order for your Mythikan to get Rune points.
In order for you to learn how to cast the Rune spells, you will need to also do the sorcery activity to search for what is known as Runebooks. Every player will have a Runebook log that records all the spells that they have currently found and are able to use. You can find more information about each of these items below..
Runes Rarity
Like everything, there is also rarity of these runes to be passed throughout the Mythikans. The rarer they are, the harder they are to find or acquire through breeding.
Common > Elemancy | Uncommon > Medic | Rare > Dark | Legendary > Void
Runes Binding / Upgrades
Once you have gained either Runebooks or Runestones, you will need to unlock or equip them onto your characters. This will power up your Mythikan and help them learn new spells to use.
As stated above, you will need at least 1 runestone on each of the type of runes for that Mythikan to have that ability. You can share it out evenly between each rune, or you have specific runes for that character, the choice is yours.

To get your runes binded or upgraded, you would need to go onto the Admin Approvals page, click on the button for activities admin and then comment on the correct linked comment.
Runes unlocking
Once you have found Runebooks, you would need to unlock what that Runebooks spell is.

Runebooks have the power to teach your Mythikan's spells.
Runestones have the power to upgrade your learnt spells and your Mythikan's Rune points.

In order for you to unlock either one of these, you will need to go to the Admin's Approvals page, click on the button for the activities admin and then comment on the correct link.
Runestones
Rune stones contains spiritual energy within them that Mythikans need to rank up their rune points and make their magic more effective and stronger, especially when battling certain creatures in the world of Mythika. However, there are other ways you can rank up your characters rune points, but rune stones remain as the easiest way to rank up your rune points.
There are the basic rune stones which you would need for each rune book. These can not power up the rune type then what it is used for. Meaning you can not use an elemancy rune to power up your medic type runes. Elemancy runestones can only power up elemancy rune type. Same goes for all the different types of Runes. Here is the stones for each book, going in order of rarity:
Elemancy Stone | Medic Stone | Dark Stone | Void Stone
There is also what is known as an 'Anti Runestone' and 'Holy Rune'.These Runes are rare to get hold of, they are even more rare then the void rune, however you can synthesis to make these stones.
Anti Runestone take off a rune point on spells or your rune rank.
Holy Runestone grants +5 rune points to a character at random,
Hex Runestone gives you 50/50 chance of gaining or losing Rune points

Runebooks
For each rune type, there are specific runebooks with different spells inside of them. In order for you to learn these spells, you will need to find these runebooks and unlock them. One book contains a single spell. You can get these books in the sorcery activity only. These runebooks will only unlock spells within its own element, meaning that you can not use an elemancy to unlock a spell in the void runebook. Here is the full list of spells in the spellbook, including their ranks and what effects they do.

Runebooks also contain the power to equip a spell onto your characters. You will need to use 1 runebook to teach your characters the spell. You will need to read more in the Sorcery activity to learn more of how to do this.
