Meteor Rain
Genetics: Mtr

Meteor rain creates a dark to black gradient area on the back of the body with blurred erased areas to look like a meteor rain.
These erased false meteor rain markings follow the direction of the dark blurred markings direction.
Meteor Rain should always be darker than the base coat colour.

Coverage

Meteor Rain always begins at the spinal area gradually making its way down to the underside of the body.
You should have a minimum of 20% of the marking restrictions area covered.
Below are some examples showing Min, Max and other acceptable sizes.
There should be a minimum of 2 'comet falls' in the marking.

X Do Not Do

Meteor rain should not contain gaps and all should be connected.
The comet falls are no exception to this and can not be used to create a gap in the dark area.

How to do Meteor Rain
Step 1:
First you would need to create a 'sable' like imitated marking on the upper body where you want the marking to be.

Step 2:
You would then need to make a soft edged eraser.
You will then need to erase areas within the 'sable imitation' step to imitate meteor rain.

Meteor with Shine
If shine is present in the geno. You can make luminescence spots or lines to imitate add to the meteor rain effect.
