Tabby

Genetics: Tab
Tabby creates swirl like markings over the body.
There are different ways that you can design your Tabby on your Mythikans.
Tabby should always be darker on the base coats unless stated otherwise, such as highlights or marking modifiers being present.
Read more below about what you can do with tabby.

Edge Restrictions

Minimum Coverage

Tabby can appear anywhere on the body and does not need to be connected.
You must have a minimum of at least 30% of the marking restrictions covered.

Regular Tabby

Regular tabby appears on the body just like you would find on Tabby cats.
These swirl like markings can be thick or thin.

You can also add some gradients to your Tabby markings even if you do not have Dual Tone in your geno.
You must make the gradient blend from the upper back to the underside of the body.
The gradient can not go any other direction.

Ringed Tabby

Ringed Tabby creates the 'rings' on the tail just like the ring tailed lemur or Red Pandas and should imitate thier ringed like markings on their tails.
You can make them thick or thin rings.
None of these rings should connect to each other.
You can make the 'rings' be at a slight angle or make slight curves in the marking.

Acute or Aztec Tabby

Acute / Aztec Tabby creates sharp cornered tabby swirls.

Wisp or Lace Tabby

Wisp / Lace like tabby makes the marking appear more 'stretched out' and can create some fancy lacework patterns.

Tabby with Dual Tone

Dual Tone does not really affect this marking, however it does allow you to add a lighter colour within the darker areas of this marking.
You can not make the marking blend darker to lighter.
Tabby with Reversal

Reversal creates the marking to become lighter rather than darker.
If you have dual tone within the geno too, the lighter colour within the tabby marking will become darker rather than lighter again.
