Edge Restrictions

Coverage

Piebald's coverage is up to you, however it should cover a minimum of 30% of the body.
You do not need to cover all of the body and just have the piebald in certain areas of the body.

X Do Not Do

As tempting as it may be, do not create the piebald to create 'half and half' effects.
Meaning that you can not have the base coat on one half whilst the piebald is on the second half of the body.

Do not try to use Piebald to mimic other markings.
Follow the guide below to create your piebald.

How to do Piebald

Piebald should always be a natural effect marking that is similar to animals that contain this marking.
There should be very little, next to no need to draw in any piebald markings.
Majority of the work would be to erase the areas you do not want, not create them.

First off, you would need to create the other markings on your geno.
For this example, we have used Wilddog, Reversal and Piebald.

Once you have finished with the markings, you will need another layer.
Fill this layer with pure white or off white with the restrictions stated above.

You can then begin to erase parts of this white or offwhite layer.
A tip would be to decrease the opacity slightly so you can see the markings below and work around these markings.
Just remember to put the opacity back up to 100% once you are done.

Piebald with Marking Modifiers

If Reversal is present in the geno, you can make the piebald to be black or very dark grey.
Saturation should not be any higher than 10.
Value should not be any lower than 10.
Spectral does not affect Piebald at all.
Dual Tone does not affect Piebald at all.
