Crystal is a very unique marking that imitates a mosaic or stained glass effect over the body.
Crystal should be in one area and can not be spread over multiple parts of the body.

Crystal's 'border' only allows you to use 1 darker colour.
You must use 1-3 lighter colours than base coat for the colours and an optional 1 more layer being white or off white.

Coverage
​
Crystal covers parts of the body. These parts are located as ribs, shoulders, hips legs arms tail head and neck.
You must fill at least 1 of these areas and have about 50% of that area covered.
Below shows the areas so you get an idea of how much we classify as an 'area'
We have used different colours to mark out the different colours.
How to do Crystal
Step 1:
First of all, Crystal needs a 'border' which is basically just an underlayer.
Use your selected darker colour to make the area where you want the marking.
Step 2:
You will then need to put the mosaic like patches onto this border.
There should be no holes in these patches.
You can use any shapes like circles, squares, eclipse, rhombus, oblong, ect.
Crystal with Reversal

Reversal does not affect the border.
Reversal will allow up to 2 colours to be darker than the base coat with 1 of the colours to be lighter.
If you do 1 darker, then you can do 2 lighter.
You can not do 3 darker colours.
If reversal is in the geno you must do one of these, and not have the 3 lighter colours.
Crystal with Dual Tone

Dual Tone does not affect Crystal at all.
